CHURCH HISTORY

United Church has been in existence for approximately 40 years, the start of the Ministry under the leadership of Bishop Pace and his wife Lady Pace, with approximately 5 members at the time.  In 1976 under the guidance of the Holy Spirit was led to step down from his assignment and Installed Paul Jinks as the Sr. Pastor of United Church of the First Born along with Ms. Stacey Whitehead as his Assistant Pastor. The church began to grow rapidly.  For many years Sr. Pastor Paul Jinks, Preached and taught the word of God until he too grew sick and prayed that God would send someone to help continue the ministry.  In 2008, The Lord sent his nephew Bernard Brown who was only in his mind just visiting.  Sr. Pastor Jinks had asked Pastor Brown at the time to join him as his assistant pastor and without hesitation Pastor Brown was willing to serve.  In 2013, With great sadness, United Church loss Sr. Pastor Jinks.  On November 2013 that same years the Deacons and members of United Church felt it was only befitting to install Assistant Pastor Bernard Brown at the time to Sr. Pastor of United Church of the First Born.  Currently under Sr. Pastor Brown leadership the church is still growing.  We thank God from Whom all blessings flow as we continue to Kingdom work.
